Scholarships Awarded to Brookestone Village Team Members

Congratulations to our three Vetter Health Services scholarship award recipients for last semester; Assa Haidara, Jamie Kroupa, and Maria Martinez. The VSL Academic Committee for Excellence selected Assa, Jamie and Maria from many applicants to receive this honor, and Brookestone Village is proud to announce that each of these team members has been awarded a $1000 scholarship from Vetter Senior Living.

Assa has been a CNA with Brookestone Village for about 15 months, and is currently working on her pre-nursing courses, with plans to transfer to Clarkson to receive her BSN beginning in July. Jamie is a CNA as well, and has been with us for almost two and a half years. She is currently attending Iowa Western Community College, working towards earning her nursing degree. Maria graduated from College of Saint Mary in 2015 with an Associates degree in nursing, and is currently back at CSM working towards her BSN. She is also a CNA and has been a team member at BSV for a year and a half.
